Called to Worship - a practical guide for those involved in leading worship
Called to Worship
Run Your Own Race The opposite of criticising others is the longing to be someone else rather than ourselves. If you won’t be you, who is going to be you? God created you, chose you and called you by name to be you and not someone else. You are unique. You are precious in His eyes. God has an assignment specifically tailored to you, to your personality and to your giftings. Comparing yourself to, or competing with others will only lead to pride on the one hand or discouragement on the other, and prevent you from running the unique and particular race that God has set before you. (Hebrews 12:1)
